El Paso Natural Gas issued an emergency notice Monday, reportingthat the Bondad 2A turbine must be taken down to repair an oil leaktoday. The work will reduce the capacity of the station by 95MMcf/d. El Paso postponed to an indefinite date Guadalupe Stationmaintenance that had been set for today and Wednesday. Wenden Aturbine work began Sunday, one day earlier than previouslyannounced, and will run through Friday, reducing Havasu Crossovercapacity by 100 MMcf/d, the pipeline said.
Problems with the Blanco Plant’s D1 turbine (see Daily GPI, June 8) were not as severe as anticipated,El Paso said, and thus it was being returned to service Friday alongwith the rest of the plant instead of remaining down through Sunday aspreviously estimated.
