The schedule for an outage of KN Energy’s Pony Express Line, whichbegan Tuesday (see Daily GPI, April 26),has been revised to last through May 27, according to the Williamsbulletin board. Williams is not allowing nominations at the KN-Glavininterconnect (Franklin County, KS) during the outage.

Compressor damage is causing unscheduled maintenance on Unit Cat Station 5 (Athol, ID), PG&E Gas Transmission-Northwest saidMonday. At first a Kingsgate capacity limitation of 2,050 MMcf/dwas expected to begin today and last through Thursday, but lateMonday afternoon the pipeline said it was able to raise theKingsgate ceiling to 2,200 MMcf/d “due to unseasonably cool ambienttemperatures.”

Transco shippers have accumulated a significant negativeimbalance through the first 20 days of April, the pipeline said. Inorder to avoid restrictions that would be caused by a large volumeof receipt makeup transactions requested to flow for a limited timeat the end of the month, Transco urged that such transactions bescheduled as soon as possible to allow a steady flow rate throughApril 30.

Completion of the Unit #7 outage at NOVA’s Princess B CompressorStation, expected last week to be expedited to April 23 (see DailyGPI, April 14), has been extended to April 26.

There will be zero flow through Finney County (KS) Station April21-22 during maintenance on the station’s Unit #4, Northern NaturalGas said. It estimated 13,000 MMbtu/d will be affected. About150,000 MMbtu/d will be affected at Spraberry Compressor Station inWest Texas during a one-day emergency shutdown test and changeoutof valves May 3.

Replacement of its A-Line north of Stanfield, OR, is keepingKingsgate capacity of PG&E GT-NW limited to 2,250 MMcf/d-370MMcf/d under the April norm-through Friday. Hydrostatic testing ofthe line at Station 6-A will further limit Kinggate to 2,190 MMcf/dApril 19-22.

El Paso will will allow neither injections nor withdrawals whenit shuts in the Washington Ranch storage facility April 19-25 formaintenance. Saying the project will severely limit its flexibilityin controlling linepack, El Paso asked in advance for customercooperation in “balancing very closely” scheduled receipts anddeliveries.
