Capping a chaotic three days, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia late Wednesday denied an emergency motion to stay FERC’s certificate for the Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Co. (Transco) Atlantic Sunrise expansion, allowing construction to immediately resume.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District Columbia on Wednesday partially granted a motion for clarification filed by Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Co. LLC (Transco), limiting the three-judge panel’s order to stay the Atlantic Sunrise project’s FERC certificate only to construction in Pennsylvania and not other state operations.
