The Pascagoula (MS) Gas Plant has informed Destin Pipeline thattwo to three days of maintenance is tentatively planned to begin atthe plant on April 30 and it expected to require shutting in boththe plant and pipeline during that period. The two entities areworking together to minimize the duration of the shut-in, with theplant using last week’s downtime to initiate some of the workoriginally expected to occur during the April shut-in.

Transportation Notes

Tennessee delayed pigging operations on the Blue Water System,originally scheduled for Monday and today (see Daily GPI, March 6), tentatively until Thursday andFriday of this week. No service restrictions are expected, butproducers may experience higher than normal pressures.

Shippers Tentatively Support Natural Auction Procedures

Producers and marketers this week offered their conditionalsupport for a comprehensive settlement package that calls forNatural Gas Pipeline Company of America (NGPL) to implement a moretransparent auction process on its system. Several said theirsupport hinged on the outcome of five contested issues that havebeen reserved for FERC comment and resolution.

NGPL expected to complete maintenance between Stations 167 and169 on the Amarillo Mainline sometime Tuesday and was tentativelyscheduling nominations through the area for today’s gas day.
