Oneok Affirms 2004 Guidance; Shuffles Segment Contributions

Tulsa, OK-based Oneok Inc. said Friday that its earnings guidance for 2004 remains at $2.12-2.18 per diluted share of common stock. The company also provided quarterly earnings-per-share guidance and updated segment operating income estimates due to changes in the market.

El Paso Shuffles Pipeline Management

El Paso Corp. announced that Patricia A. Shelton will leave her position as president of the company’s western pipeline group at the end of the year and be replaced by James J. Cleary, who has been president of ANR Pipeline since the Coastal merger. The company did not say why Shelton is leaving.

Apache to Auction Recently Acquired GOM Fields

As it shuffles its portfolio, Houston-based Apache Corp. said it would auction 32 blocks in 18 western Gulf of Mexico fields that it acquired earlier this year from BP plc (see Daily GPI, March 19). The sale, said Apache, was part of its efforts to cut assets that don’t meet production or profitability goals.

Cinergy Shuffles Marketing Executives

Cinergy Corp. is reorganizing its power and gas tradingoperations in the wake of former President J. Wayne Leonard’sdeparture to Entergy Corp. Cinergy has named Madeleine W. Ludlow,currently vice president and chief financial officer, to be the newpresident of Cinergy Capital and Trading and announced Michael J.Cyrus, an executive with Electric Clearinghouse, will becomeexecutive vice president, overseeing power trading operations.
