Americans like their natural gas molecules to be homegrown, and most of them prefer that they be kept at home instead of shipped abroad as liquefied natural gas (LNG), a recent poll by the University of Texas at Austin (UT) found. The same survey found that Republicans support hydraulic fracturing (fracking) while Democrats oppose it.
