SandRidge Energy Inc. on Wednesday agreed to sell its Permian Basin portfolio for $2.6 billion in cash to privately held Sheridan Production Partners II, a sale that has been anticipated since early November.

Ultra Sells Wyoming Liquids Pipe, Gathering Assets for $225M

Ultra Petroleum Inc.’s Wyoming unit on Friday agreed to sell a liquids pipeline system and gathering facilities and certain associated real property rights in the Pinedale Anticline in Wyoming for $225 million. The buyer is Pinedale Corridor LP, a newly created unit of CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust, and the deal is expected to close later this month.

QEP Energy Adds Another Bakken Property from Unit Corp.

Tulsa, OK-based Unit Corp. said Friday its petroleum subsidiary has closed a previously announced sale of a little more than one-third of its interest in Bakken Shale properties to QEP Energy for $228 million. The deal was final as of July 1, 2012.

Total to Sell LNG from Sabine Pass to Korea’s Kogas

Total Gas & Power Ltd. has signed a deal to sell to South Korea’s Korea Gas Corp. (Kogas) 0.7 million metric tons per year of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for 20 years from Cheniere Energy Partners LP’s Sabine Pass Liquefaction LNG export terminal in Louisiana. The LNG would be lifted following startup of the terminal’s third train, which is scheduled for commissioning in 2017, Total said.

Eaglebine Purchase, IPO Planned by Texas Producer

Energy & Exploration Partners Inc. on Monday said in a filing with U.S. regulators that it intended to raise up to $275 million through an initial public offering (IPO) of its common stock. In conjunction with the filing, the producer said it had agreed to buy acreage in the Eaglebine formation of Texas from Chesapeake Energy Corp. for $125 million.
