Alaska Governor Rejects ConocoPhillips Gasline Proposal

“Thanks, but no thanks” was Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s response last Wednesday to ConocoPhillips and its proposal for a natural gas pipeline to commercialize the state’s vast North Slope reserves. Palin wrote CEO James Mulva to let him know the state is now only considering a proposal from TransCanada Alaska Co. LLC and Foothills Pipe Lines Ltd.
