Report: 17 Million NGVs on World’s Roads by 2015
The natural gas vehicle (NGV) industry is poised for a period of growth that could put 7.3 million new NGVs on the road worldwide by 2015, a 75% increase from the current 9.7 million NGVs in operation, according to a report from Boulder, CO-based Pike Research.

The New Mexico Public Regulation Commission (PRC) elected Sandy Jones chairman and David King vice chairman. A road construction business founder and owner from the southwestern part of the state, Jones joined the PRC Jan. 1, 2007. Jones said he wants to help small businesses “thrive,” which he claims will create jobs and allow the state to retain more of its young citizens. King is a third generation New Mexican from the family that operates the King Ranch in South Texas. King is a veteran of local, state and federal government positions and has served three previous governors in New Mexico.

Front-month natural gas futures continued to hover around its five-and-a-half-dollar purgatory on Wednesday as the bears appear to be running out of road while the bulls lack the fuel for a sustained push higher. January natural gas on the day appeared to make a run at the upside with a $5.850 high and the downside with a $5.486 low before closing at $5.619, down 13.2 cents from Tuesday.
