Alliance is Right on Track

Alliance Pipeline, the largest initial pipeline project in NorthAmerica, is on track to begin service on its scheduled date of Oct.1, the project’s CEO said yesterday. All of the construction goalsfor 1999 have been met and currently 77% of the mainline has beeninstalled.

After Breaking Support, Futures Resistant to Further Losses

Futures Fall Under Speculative Selling Pressure

The futures market came under hefty selling pressure right fromthe outset Tuesday, as the market put aside hurricane fears toconcentrate on the overall bearish outlook for natural gas. TheSeptember contract sustained the largest losses, slipping 9.8 centsto settle at $1.828 for the day.
