Support Holds at $7 Following 90 Bcf Storage Build

The natural gas industry was dealt another stout storage injection Thursday morning, but this time traders were ready. Following the report that 90 Bcf was injected into underground storage for the week ended Aug. 29, October natural gas futures bobbed lower to test support at $7 again before rallying to close at $7.322, up 5.8 cents from Wednesday’s close.

Energy Transfer Completes Southeast Bossier Project

Energy Transfer Partners LP’s (ETP) Southeast Bossier 42-inch diameter gas pipeline project in East Texas is now complete and ready to serve producers in the gas-rich Barnett Shale, the company said. The $468 million project consists of more than 150 miles of pipeline from Farrar, TX, to Silsbee, TX.
