NGPL said pipeline replacement work on segment one in its Midcontinent Zone will further reduce pressure on its system, cutting capacity from an already reduced state. The pipeline expects a complete outage on that section of the system Nov. 16-17, affecting about 15 receipt/delivery points.

Transportation Notes
NGPL said its Gulf Coast system was at capacity Tuesday for northbound flow upstream and through Station 309 (Segment 27), and ITS/AOR transportation was at risk of not getting fully scheduled. Based on anticipated level of high nominations due to the cold weather in the Market Delivery Zone the availability of this service is extremely unlikely, the pipeline said. Secondary out-of-path transportation is at risk of not getting fully scheduled on Wednesday, it added. It will be requiring withdrawals from NSS to be on an in-the-path transportation.

Gulf Coast Pipeline Would Serve LNG Terminals
Kinder Morgan said it is evaluating the feasibility of developing a pipeline or expanding Natural Gas Pipeline Co.’s (NGPL) Louisiana line to accommodate natural gas from several liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminals planned along the Gulf Coast. The additional transportation capacity would be used to deliver regasified LNG to various markets and pipeline hubs in the region along the coasts of Texas and Louisiana.

NGPL shut in two receipt points in the immediate area shortly after identifying a mainline failure in Caddo County, OK shortly before 1 p.m. CDT Friday. No injuries or significant physical damage to the surrounding area have been reported, according to the pipeline. It said it would use its “operational flexibility to minimize the impact to shippers for today’s [Friday] gas day and most likely for future days.” The incident resulted in a few transportation constraints; see the bulletin board for details. No delivery points were being impacted Friday, the pipeline said, but delivery points along the A/G Line (Segments 15 and 17) “are at a slight risk of being impacted.”
Transportation Notes
NGPL said gas quality problems that arose at two receipt points over the weekend have been resolved. It was scheduling at normal levels Monday for the Enogex-Latimer and EPGT-Panola points in Latimer County, OK and Panola County, TX respectively.
