Tellurian Inc. confirmed Friday that a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with India’s Petronet LNG Ltd. has expired in a development that’s likely to delay the sanctioning of its massive natural gas export project on the Gulf Coast.

Tellurian Inc. has secured a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Vitol Inc. to supply 1.5 million metric tons/year (mmty) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for at least 15 years from the planned Driftwood LNG export facility on the Louisiana coast.

The New York Stock Exchange has delisted Gastar Exploration Inc. common and preferred stock after it failed to meet listing standards. Gastar plans to soon be traded on the OTCQB over-the-counter market. Gastar said in July it could be sold or instead restructure the balance sheet. Gastar is a Midcontinent pure-play that works in the Anadarko Basin.

Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia have extended for another three years a cooperative agreement to promote the region’s shale gas resources and create more economic opportunities.

After securing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea Gas Corp. (Kogas) to cooperate on liquefied natural gas (LNG) issues, Alaska’s state-owned natural gas corporation said it will accept expressions of interest for capacity on its Alaska LNG Project through the end of August.
