Sonat said it will try to complete valve maintenance set for todaywithout affecting production. However, if that can’t be done,production may be shut in for up to six hours at the MississippiCanyon 194, Mississippi Canyon 109, Mississippi Canyon 20 and RomerePass points. Reliant said Thursday it had lifted an operational alertlimiting capacity in the West of Amber segment in Oklahoma (see DailyGPI, March 29).

Florida Gas Transmission extended maintenance at Station 14 in theFlorida Panhandle through Dec. 4, three days beyond the originallyprojected end date (see Daily GPI,Nov. 29). As previously posted, the work limits FGT’s market areato about 1.3 Bcf/d. Due to significant demand, the pipeline Wednesdayissued an Overage Alert Day notice for the system east of Station12. It carries a 6% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

Baker to Operate All of El Paso’s GOM Platforms

Baker Energy, a unit of Michael Baker Corp., signed a majoroperation and maintenance agreement with El Paso Production Co.that covers all of El Paso’s offshore production facilities in theGulf of Mexico (GOM). El Paso Production, formerly known as SonatExploration, operates more than 50 manned and unmanned oil and gasproduction facilities throughout the GOM. The contract has anexpected annual value of $12 million.

El Paso said Friday the White Rock (NM) Station had been takenout of service for emergency maintenance. The pipeline heldcapacity out of San Juan Basin at the Cycle 2 scheduled rate of2,685 MMcf/d Friday but lowered the volume slightly to 2,680 MMcf/dfor Saturday’s gas day.
