Enterprise Products Partners LP said Friday that operations at its Pioneer cryogenic gas processing facility in Lincoln County, WY, have been suspended following a release of natural gas and subsequent fire that occurred on March 27. No injuries resulted from the incident, which was restricted to a small area within the plant. Enterprise reported the incident to the appropriate government authorities and personnel on the scene worked closely with emergency responders to secure the site. Crews on Friday were in the process of determining the extent of the damage and have begun an investigation into the cause of the incident. Based on preliminary findings, Enterprise expects the facility to resume service in approximately two to three weeks. In the meantime, all gas volumes are being diverted to the partnership’s adjacent silica gel gas processing plant. Prior to the incident, the Pioneer cryogenic facility was processing about 550 MMcf/d and extracting approximately 26,000 b/d of natural gas liquids. Enterprise does not expect the service interruption to materially affect the partnership’s gross operating margin or net income for 2008.

EOG Resources Inc. has retained Meagher Oil & Gas Properties Inc. to sell operated producing properties in Oklahoma’s Lincoln and Oklahoma counties. The package includes an average 99% working interest (80% net revenue interest) in 6,442 net acres in 30 sections of which 2,463 acres are producing. The assets include 19 wells within a six-mile radius producing high-Btu gas from the Pen and Cleveland sands, EOG said. Production is 954 Mcf/d , with 2.5 b/d of oil net projected for June. Estimated net cash flow for June is $270,000. A salt water disposal well and water lines are in place. Upside, said EOG, includes one additional Peru location identified and two Hunton/Oswego extensional locations. The bid due date is May 22; the effective date is June 1. Transportation Notes

Trailblazer declared a force majeure at its compressor station 602 in Lincoln County, NB on Monday. The station experienced an unexpected outage due to an internal electrical failure on one of its compressor units. The estimated duration of the outage is four weeks. Effective on the Intraday 1 cycle for Tuesday and continuing until further notice, secondary out-of-path and ITS/AOR volumes will not be available for scheduling. Trailblazer estimates that 800,000 Dth of firm capacity will be available during the outage. Therefore, nominated primary firm and secondary in-the-path firm transportation will be scheduled pro rata based on the shipper’s primary contract MDQ in accordance with Trailblazer’s tariff. Trailblazer expects to be able to confirm 94.5% of total contracted MDQ for primary firm transportation.

The two units at Trailblazer’s Compressor Station 602 in Lincoln County, CO remained out of service Thursday until further notice due to “a sudden mechanical/electrical failure.” Trailblazer has declared force majeure and said the completion date of repairs remains unknown. ITS/AOR and Secondary out-of-path transportation through the station are not available for scheduling. Primary and Secondary in-the-path firm nominated volumes will be prorated based on the shipper’s contract MDQ (Maximum Daily Quantity), the pipeline said.
