Early in the week, Breathitt indicated itwould take up to six more months, while Bailey said yesterday theCommission would be delivering a package of gas decisions byChristmas.

Prices Start Rising Again as New Storms Develop

The two companies have formed Lost Creek Gathering Co.L.L.C. to build a new 124-mile, 24-inch diameter wet gas gatheringheader from the Madden Field in central Wyoming to a processingplant located near Wamsutter, WY.

The Merge Surge Continues: UtiliCorp Buys St. Joseph L&P
UtiliCorp joined the merger-mania Friday as it announced plans to acquire St. Joseph Light &Power in Missouri for $190.6 million. The agreement has been approved by the boards of directors for both companies but still needs approval from Light &Power shareholders and state and regulatory officials. Both companies expect the deal to close in 2000.
