The Oklahoma City-based company said it has acquired interests in more than 3 million additional deepwater acres around the globe.

FERC Rejects OFO Complaint Against Northwest

FERC last week denied a complaint in which several Nevadaindustrial shippers sought exemption from continual must-flowoperational flow orders (OFOs) on Northwest Pipeline’s system, andto be reimbursed for the costs of complying with those OFOs. Butthe Commission did hold out some hope for the shippers, saying itwould consider proposals to provide future relief from thepipeline’s constant OFOs.

PG&E Settlement Approved; SoCal Still Stalled

California regulators approved a settlement last week dealingwith Pacific Gas and Electric’s imbalance procedures andoperational flow orders (OFO). The California Public UtilitiesCommission (CPUC) however, did not act on the much tougher issuesincluded in the proposed interim and comprehensive settlementsfiled earlier this year by Southern California Gas.
