With many regions of the United States greeting warmer-than-normal temperatures over the last few days, traders came to work Monday with a little bit of spring fever as April natural gas futures continued to probe new lows in the larger move downward.

A blunt greeting has been given to the newly-elected Conservative regime in Ottawa by a Northwest Territories government out to parlay northern gas development into a new economic deal for the Canadian Arctic.

Aquila Energy’s UtiliCorp Energy Management got a Hallmarkgreeting of its own this week, after inking a three-year agreementwith the Hallmark Cards Inc. to manage the company’s energyprocurement process for natural gas and electricity. No financialdetails were disclosed on the amount of the agreement.
