Citing growing oil production from shale plays, Enterprise Products Partners LP and Enbridge Inc. said Thursday they plan to construct a pipeline to transport crude oil from the oversupplied hub at Cushing, OK, to the Texas Gulf Coast refining complex. Enterprise recently scrapped plans to pursue a similar project with a different partner.
Equitrans Gets FERC Nod to Construct Marcellus Pipeline Project
Equitrans LP, a subsidiary of Pittsburgh-based EQT Corp., Wednesday said it has gotten the go-ahead from FERC to begin construction on a new pipeline in Pennsylvania and West Virginia that will provide additional takeaway capacity for Marcellus Shale gas producers.

FERC Thursday approved Tennessee Gas Pipeline’s and Dominion Transmission Inc.’s proposed system expansions to deliver gas from the Marcellus Shale/Appalachian Basin to existing markets in New England and to the Niagara Falls area of New York.
