FERC Clears ETC Tiger Pipeline Expansion for Service

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Tuesday approved a request by ETC Tiger Pipeline LLC, a unit of Dallas-based Energy Transfer Partners LP, to place a 400 MMcf/d expansion of its system in service.

NGS Energy Plans Hub and Storage in Northeast Louisiana

Independent Gas Storage developer NGS Energy will develop a major transportation and storage hub from Perryville to Delhi in Northeast Louisiana, the company said Thursday. The new hub, the Gulf Coast Connector, is expected to connect the prolific Barnett Shale gas play to higher valued markets through interconnections with up to 13 interstate and intrastate pipelines.

CenterPoint said Monday a restriction on deliveries to Columbia Gulf/Perryville (South) due to unscheduled maintenance at Delhi Compressor Station (see Daily GPI, March 27) was no longer in effect.

CenterPoint issued an Operational Alert after Unit #2 at Delhi Compressor Station went down for unscheduled repairs Monday morning. The outage is a force majeure condition and is expected to last until Oct. 11. It limits the ColumbiaGulf/Perryville delivery point in northwest Louisiana to 270,000 Dth/d, CenterPoint said. No interruptible deliveries will be scheduled during this time and firm delivery nominations will be reduced as necessary.
