A new truck-to-rail transloading facility has opened in Parkersburg, WV, that is capable of handling more than 150,000 bbl of crude oil condensate and natural gas liquids from the Marcellus and Utica shales.

Massachusetts Firm Rescues California Carbon Capture Plan

Concord, MA-based independent power producer SCS Energy plans to take over a carbon capture and storage (CCS) project tied to a proposed integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) power generation plant in the heart of the oil-rich southern San Joaquin Valley near Elk Hills. Earlier this year BP plc and Rio Tinto pulled out of the joint venture project centered on Hydrogen Energy California (HECA).

Tennessee Cleared to Export Marcellus Gas over Border Facilities

Tennessee Gas Pipeline received regulatory approval Monday to use its facilities to export Marcellus Shale gas through its facilities at the U.S.-Canada border.
