Coastal Gas Gathering and Processing experienced a fire Thursdayat its Dragon Trail (CO) Plant that caused one injury and limitedreceipts into Northwest, Questar, CIG and Public Service Co. ofColorado. Dragon Trail throughput was reduced temporarily to zeroFriday but was being restored by that afternoon, a spokesman said.Full output was expected to be reached by Friday night or Saturday,he said.

Coastal’s Wyoming Interstate Co. has completed construction ofits Medicine Bow Lateral pipeline and begun moving gas. “Wereceived excellent customer response to this project from the verybeginning, and we now are ready to move more of their Powder RiverBasin gas to market,” said Jon Whitney, CEO of Colorado InterstateGas (CIG), which operates Wyoming Interstate (WIC).

Coastal’s ANR Pipeline Co. said yesterday that its proposedexpansion, the Wisconsin 2000 project, received a favorableenvironmental assessment from the FERC staff. Joe Martucci, aspokesman for the company said the project is on track and expectsfinal FERC approval early in 2000.

In an effort to increase their access to deep-water gas, TheCoastal Corp. announced last week that subsidiaries of ANR Pipelineentered in a series of agreements under which they collectivelyhave become joint owners in a new holding company, DeepwaterHoldings L.L.C. The financial terms were not disclosed.
