The national trade group for the natural gas vehicle (NGV) sector, NGVAmerica, gave global package carrier Federal Express (FedEx) an achievement award earlier this month at the new FedEx compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling facility in Oklahoma City.

Newport Beach, CA-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. announced a half-dozen new and extended transit deals, led by a $10 million, multi-year procurement contract with New Jersey Transit, the nation’s third-largest bus, rail and light rail provider.

General Motors (GM) on Thursday said it was recalling 3,196 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana full-size vans with a compressed natural gas (CNG) option to check for a possible hazard in the vehicles CNG regulator. GM said the recall also includes an additional 13 vehicles in Canada.
