Jordan Cove LNG Backers See Movement on EPC, Tolling Contracts

While FERC action on a rehearing request is still pending (see Daily GPI, April 11), backers of the Jordan Cove liquefied natural gas (LNG) project along the south-central coast of Oregon said Thursday that they expect to have two engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) contracts for the project and additional tolling agreements in place later this year.

Jordan Cove LNG Project Close to Signing Anchor Shipper, Veresen CEO Says

The Jordan Cove liquefied natural gas (LNG) export project and connecting pipeline in Oregon is close to both getting a final FERC approval and to announcing an initial agreement with an anchor shipper of western Canadian and U.S. Rockies gas supplies to Asia, the CEO for the project said.
