Sempra Utilities See Moderated Winter Gas Prices

Sempra Energy’s two California utilities last week predicted “moderated” natural gas prices and alerted their customers in the southern half of the state that they should see lower heating bills this winter compared to last year when the post-hurricane fall-winter was punctuated by record high wholesale prices for gas. Residential customers for Southern California Gas Co. and San Diego Gas and Electric Co. can expect monthly bills in the $80-$85 and $60-$65 ranges, respectively.
