Tennessee declared a force majeure event late Thursday for meters on the West Delta 527A-300 line due to the need to repair a leak. Operators of the Venice, West Delta 58C and West Delta 58D meters were required to shut in until further notice. Tennessee also said Friday it was lifting a force majeure that had been declared Sept. 30, 2005 as a result of Hurricane Rita.
Transportation Notes
Weather is delaying leak repairs on the South Pass 77 527A-700 line, Tennessee said Wednesday, and it now expects to complete the first portion of the work Saturday. Last week Tennessee had anticipated being able to finish Wednesday (see Daily GPI, April 26). The South Pass 77A meter remains shut in during the project. It also will be required to shut in during additional work on the line that is scheduled for Sept. 19-26.
Transportation Notes
A pig is stuck in the 527A-700 Line due to a plug that formed in the line, Tennessee said Monday. It had hoped to work the pig free by last Friday. The plug must be dissolved and removed before the line can return to service; the outage is expected to last seven to 14 days. Until the pig is recovered, physical flow at the South Pass 57A, South Pass 77A and West Delta 109 meters offshore Louisiana has been suspended.
Transportation Notes
Tennessee delayed a project to abandon certain facilities associated with Line 527A-300 offshore Louisiana until April 28-May 13. The work previously had been scheduled for April 23-May 8 (see Daily GPI, April 10).
