Questar Pipeline Co. (QPC) is holding an open season through Jan. 31 to solicit binding support to install nine miles of natural gas pipeline and ancillary facilities on its jurisdictional line (JL) 47 in Duchesne County, UT.

The interstate pipeline has interconnects to White River Hub LLC, TransColorado Gas Transmission Co., Wyoming Interstate Co., Colorado Interstate Gas Co. (CIG), Kern River Gas Transmission, Overthrust Pipeline Co., Northwest Pipeline Co., Southern Star and Questar Gas Co. The project would enable QPC to transport up to an additional 30,000 Dth/d from receipt points on QPC’s JL46 and JL47. Deliveries could be made available at:

Shippers acquiring capacity also would have access to all other mainline receipt and delivery points on QPC’s system on a secondary basis at no additional cost, the pipeline said. Other receipt and delivery points could be available depending on the outcome of the open season. Assuming it has sufficient binding support by March 1 to underwrite the cost of the required facilities, QPC said new facilities could be in service by the beginning of 3Q2012.
