Northwest Pipeline Group has received binding precedent agreements from four companies for incremental storage service at Jackson Prairie totaling 104,000 Dth/d of firm deliverability capacity and an associated 1.2 trillion Btu of storage capacity.

The agreements, obtained from an open season held in February, are with Terasen Gas Inc., 54,233 Dth; Cascade Natural Gas Corp., 30,000 Dth; Idaho Power Co., 11,267 Dth; and The Boeing Co., 8, 500 Dth. The weighted average contract term is 32 years.

Northwest said it plans to file an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in May to provide the incremental storage services concurrently with an application to expand the Jackson Prairie project.
