The NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, to be held starting Thursday in Indianapolis, is going to have practices and games powered by renewable energy thanks to AES Corp. subsidiary AES Indiana. 

Through purchasing renewable energy credits, AES Indiana said it would be able to apply them to energy usage by the teams using Hinkle Fieldhouse, Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Lucas Oil Stadium, Indiana Farmers Coliseum and the Convention Center.
