“In the natural gas market specifically, the principal concern among my clients is the lack of marketer options available and the fact that there are very few natural gas vendors,” Santiago Arroyo, founder and General Director of URSUS Trade & Consulting, told NGI’s Mexico GPI.  “With a limited number of supply options, that obviously leads to higher costs.”

He added: “And because regulatory bodies are not giving permits to prospective natural gas suppliers, this creates limited options for buyers, which drives up costs at a time inflation has already impacted their financial balance sheet.”
