Federal regulators accepted a responsibly sourced gas (RSG) pooling service proposal from Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. LLC (TGP), a Kinder Morgan Inc. subsidiary, after initially denying the proposal in late April. 

After revising and resubmitting a proposal for the pooling service in mid-May, FERC has approved Kinder’s plan to offer the pooling service along the 11,760-mile conduit. The service is now available at all pooling points across the TGP system, according to Kinder. 

The service “facilitates greater transparency and liquidity into markets for this important, lower emissions energy source,” said Ernesto Ochoa, TGP’s Vice President of Commercial.
