Daily processing capacity in the Montney Shale, which straddles northern Alberta and British Columbia, has jumped by 200 MMcf natural gas and 24,000 bbl of liquid byproducts after Keyera’s Pipestone complex ramped up on Tuesday. 

Pipestone, about 375 miles northwest of the Alberta capital in Edmonton, was finished five months ahead of schedule and within the budget of C$500-600 million ($375-400 million). The Pipestone liquids hub, which began operating in 2018, provides an additional 14,000 b/d of condensate processing capacity.
