The Evolution Finance Inc. subsidiary reported in its latest study that in 2022, the average residential price for natural gas is highest in Hawaii, followed by Alaska, Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York. The least expensive states in the country for natural gas, after New Mexico, include South Dakota, Idaho, Arizona, North Dakota and Iowa, according to WalletHub.
