  • FERC on Thursday granted Freeport LNG Development LP’s request to resume loading cargoes from one of its docks. 
  • The plant has not been cleared to restart operations. The approval is one in a series that must occur before LNG production and shipments may resume after an explosion and fire knocked the facility offline last June. 
  • The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission previously cleared Freeport to introduce feed gas to Train 3 for commissioning and cooldown. It also has granted permission to cool down the main rundown line that extends from the liquefaction trains to the liquefied natural gas tank area.
