  • Federal Energy Regulatory Commission staff released a draft environmental impact statement (EIS) for an expansion of Venture Global LNG Inc.’s expansion and associated pipeline project at Calcasieu Pass LNG (Nos. CP22-21-000, CP22-22-000).
  • Staff concluded the 20 million metric tons/year CP2 LNG project would have impacts to the environment that could be mitigated. It could also have “significant adverse effects on the visual resources” of the area if built.
