  • Vessel traffic stopped Friday afternoon on waterways serving the Calcasieu Pass, Cameron, Corpus Christi and Sabine Pass LNG terminals in Texas and Louisiana. 
  • Pilot service was suspended on the Sabine-Neches Waterway, Corpus Christi Ship Channel and the Calcasieu Ship Channel as an arctic front swept the region, bringing cold, high winds and choppy seas. 
  • TTF dropped 8% on Friday, its sixth straight day of losses. Ample LNG supplies and mild weather are weighing on the European gas benchmark. “Unseasonably warm temperatures” are forecast for continental Europe over the next two weeks, according to Maxar’s Weather Desk. TTF is at its lowest point since June. JKM has held a narrow premium over TTF since Dec. 19.
