  • European natural gas prices continued their charge higher Tuesday, hitting levels not seen since March. The prompt Title Transfer Facility contract surged by 13% to settle above $59/MMBtu. Russia is set to further reduce natural gas deliveries on Nord Stream 1 to 20% of the system’s capacity on Wednesday. Gaprom PJSC said it would be forced to take another turbine offline for repairs. 
  • With NS1 flowing at roughly 30 million cubic meters/day (MMcm), or about 1 Bcf/d, “the European Union (EU) achieving storage targets of 80% by Nov. 1 is very challenging and liquefied natural gas supply is also likely to see some downside as we approach the U.S. hurricane season,” said Rystad Energy analyst Karolina Siemieniuk.
