  • European natural gas prices on Tuesday tumbled to their lowest point this year after Russia said it was pulling back some troops amassed near the Ukraine border. The March Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF) contract shed more than $3/MMBtu and finished the day under $24. The Japan-Korea Marker also followed the TTF lower. Brent crude for April declined by more than $3/bbl to finish at $93.28.
  • The decline also followed a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Putin reassured Scholz on reliable natural gas supplies from Russia.
