More than 400 environmental organizations across the globe have called on the Biden administration to end public support for fossil fuel developments, including natural gas projects, within 90 days.

In a letter sent last week to a number of cabinet officials including Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, the groups asked the administration to double down on an Executive Order (EO) signed by President Biden in January to promote “climate-aligned” investments over “high-carbon” investments.
