Enron Energy Services (EES) inked its second major energymanagement outsourcing contract in the last three months Tuesday,as Suiza Food Corp., a Dallas-based manufacturer and distributor ofdairy products, agreed to receive comprehensive energy managementservices at more than 50 manufacturing facilities in 24 states.Although no amounts were disclosed, Enron did say the ten-year dealis its biggest outsourcing contract.

Enron will manage all aspects of Suiza’s energy commodities. Itwill design, build and finance infrastructure projects, manageconsumption, and deliver a consolidated monthly invoice. “Thislong-term agreement with Enron enables us to focus our time andcapital on growth in our core business,” said Gregg Engles, CEO ofSuiza.

EES signed Packaged Ice Inc. to a similar deal last May (See DailyGPI, May, 14), which covered 60 icemanufacturing facilities and was priced at a commodity-to-productionlevel .
