With the federal government shuttered as Washington, DC, awaits its second blizzard in a matter of days, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) Tuesday said two natural gas reports will be delayed and one will be canceled this week.

The EIA’s Short-Term Energy Outlook for February, which was due to be released Tuesday, will instead come out on Wednesday, said the agency, which is the statistical arm of the Department of Energy.

The Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report for the week ending Feb. 5 will be published at 10:30 a.m. EST on Friday — one day later than was originally scheduled, the EIA said.

And the Natural Gas Weekly Update, which was scheduled to be released on Thursday, will be canceled this week, the agency said.

The EIA said it will update the schedule if weather forces additional changes.
