HOUSTON (ICIS)– Asia spot prices have fallen this week, with the December ‘22 ICIS East Asia Index (EAX) down more than 20% on 20 October from one week ago.

Recent steady declines in pricing could spur some winter demand in the region. Sources said South Korea’s incumbent KOGAS could have awarded at least three cargoes in a tender covering mid-December to the end of January that closed on 19 October. China, however, so far remains quiet.
