Transco Zone 4 Description: Comprised of receipts within Transco's Zone 4, excluding those in Zones 4A and 4B. Zone 4 begins just upstream of Station 65 at the Louisiana/Mississippi border, and ends at the Georgia/South Carolina Border. Our index includes neither deliveries directly into Zone 4A, which is located in Southeast Alabama, nor into the offshore Zone 4B segment. However, our index does include deliveries made into Station 85 from Zones 4A and 4B. We changed the name of this index from Station 85 to Zone 4 in October 2010.

  • What do these prices represent?

    Daily GPI prices represent next-day natural gas spot prices at various trading locations in the U.S. and Canada. Prices are expressed in $U.S. per MMBtu with the exception of Canadian locations which are published in CDN$/Gj. To learn more about Daily GPI prices, check out our Price Index Methodology.
