CIG DJ Basin Description: Contains deliveries into the CIG system between (and including) the Cheyenne Compressor Station at the WY/CO border, and the Kit Carson Compressor Station in Southeast CO. Our index includes deals on the portion of the line marked by the Totem, Fort Morgan, Niobrara, and Latigo Compressor Stations, but does not include transactions on the portion of the pipeline that extends due south from Watkins.

  • What do these prices represent?

    Bidweek prices represent the wholesale, spot price of natural gas at various trading locations in the U.S. and Canada. Bidweek prices are the result of trading done on the last five business days of the month for gas to be delivered on each day of the coming month. These prices include both deals done on the Intercontinental Exchange, as well as those reported directly to NGI. Prices are expressed in $U.S. per MMBtu with the exception of Canadian locations which are published in CDN$/Gj. To learn more about Daily GPI prices, check out our Price Index Methodology.
