FGT Citygate Description

Incorporates deliveries into the state of Florida via Florida Gas Transmission. More specifically, this index is comprised of all deliveries into FGT's Market Zone east of the terminus of Zone 3 in Santa Rosa County, FL. This index does not include any transactions in the Western Division, nor the portion of Zone 3 west of mile marker 801.4 in Santa Rosa County, FL. Our index does not include deliveries to Florida from Gulfstream Natural Gas System or Cypress Pipeline.

An increasingly bullish background for the natural gas market is building with the onset of commercial liquefied natural gas export operations along the Gulf Coast, but production is proving to be a tough barrier for prices to overcome.
