Account Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our subscription sales team. The Account Manager will play a crucial role in achieving revenue targets through timely renewal operations, upselling and cross-selling to existing clients, as well as identifying and closing new sales opportunities. This position will also involve managing customer inquiries alongside our CRM.

This role reports to the Sr. Vice President of Sales and works cross-functionally with the sales, customer service and marketing teams.

Primary
Responsibilities:

The Account Manager has three main focuses at NGI, including:

Subscription Sales
● Work with senior sales staff to strategize and renew a recurring group of clients.
● Proactively build and consciously maintain successful client relationships.
● Create new business through organized prospecting and lead conversion to effectively meet individual and team sales goals.
● Manage sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.

Sales Support
● Qualify incoming leads for senior sales staff daily.
● Organize and maintain company-wide CRM with personal activities and client meeting notes to better inform business decisions.
● Perform usage analysis to support customer retention .
● Support client account maintenance.

Customer Support
● Support internal onboarding documentation and processes for new clients.
● Serve as first point of contact for all incoming client and prospect inquiries.
● Serve as NGI representative at industry events to engage the market and identify sales and marketing opportunities.

Perform additional related duties as necessary.

Preferred Education,
Experience &
Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of business-to-business sales experience.
• Experience in selling subscriptions and familiarity with the energy industry preferred.
• Proven successful track record of consultative and remote sales.
• Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills.
• Effective time management and proactive team player.
• Creative cross-functional collaborator who looks for opportunities to grow business and address market needs.

Pay:

Salary commensurate with experience, plus comprehensive commission plan
