According to the Hydrocarbons Information System (SIH), part of the Comisión Nacional de Hidrocarburos (CNH), the Quesqui field in Mexico’s southeast began production in August of 2019. That year, its production was no higher than 7 MMcf/d. During the first half of 2020, with the difficulties of operating in the midst of a pandemic, Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) pegged the production of this field at 30 MMcf/d.
