Chevron Corp. subsidiary Chevron U.S.A. Inc. is expanding its large-scale U.S. renewable natural gas (RNG) business through its latest plan to receive supply from Mercuria Energy Trading.

The San, Ramon, CA-based supermajor’s subsidiary last week signed a definitive agreement with Beyond6 LLC’s co-owners, which include Mercuria, to also take full ownership of B6’s 55 nationwide compressed natural gas (CNG) stations.
