• Cheniere Energy Inc. affiliates said that up to 30 cargoes would be sold for delivery in 2021 from the Sabine Pass terminal to Cheniere Marketing International LLP, which sells the fuel worldwide. LNG would be sold at a price equal to 115% of Henry Hub plus a premium of $0.728/MMBtu.
  • Spark Commodities Ptd. Ltd. has launched the world’s first carbon-neutral LNG freight rate. The new rate will combine Spark’s current freight assessments with relevant carbon costs. LNG freight represents 3-5% of the total carbon emissions to deliver a cargo, Spark said. Total SE and Royal Dutch Shell plc are among the players that have already delivered carbon-neutral cargoes.
