Dominion’s lockout of more than 900 union-represented employees working for two of its natural gas subsidiaries has come to an end. The company and the Utility Workers Union of America, United Gas Workers Local 69 announced Wednesday that they had reached an agreement that will allow the union employees to work through at least April 1. The union has agreed not to strike in exchange for an end to the lockout. The lockout began last week (see Daily GPI, Sept. 7), affecting 150 workers at local distribution subsidiary Dominion Hope and 760 employees of interstate pipeline operator Dominion Transmission Inc.
